Talented Michigan artists such as Joyce Hagood, Bonnie Greenman and Helen O’Dell paint on glass. Robert Burns crafts intarsia characters, and woodworkers LeRoy Hodge, David Newcomb, Whit Ballantine, Rob Hott, Tim Haines, Bob Ayala and Jim Smith give us birdhouses, tables, bowls, cutting boards, Santas and furniture. Jewelers Vicki Blazier, Robin Throop, Robin Ciotti, Shelly Steffano, Lois Dawson, and Mary Beth Kuhlman make the store sparkle. Marci Fradenburg and Audrey Shapiro bring color and texture with their ceramics and pottery. Watercolorists include Prudy Barber, Gil Treweeck, Chuck Forman, Betty Loeprich, Sue Schorfhaar, Theresa Dekker, Susan Nink, Kathy Lyons, and Jan Luptowski. Their styles vary from landscape to nautical to floral. Local authors such as Betty Beeby and Celia Hastings, add to the large book department, which has an impressive assortment of local and regional books on Michigan.
